I am an artist at heart, drawn to beauty, movement, and the quiet power of handmade things. Long before I ever created a figure skating costume, I was painting, crafting, and sewing—learning with my hands and trusting my eye.
My love for sewing was shaped during childhood, while I spent time watching my grandparents, who immigrated from Mexico, run a small alterations and tailoring shop out of their home studio. Surrounded by fabric, thread, and devotion to craft, I learned that creating something well is an act of love.
I grew up in the early 80's, watching Bob Ross turn blank canvases into calm, beautiful worlds, and I was endlessly inspired by the grace and storytelling of Olympic figure skating. Those early influences still guide my work today.
To me, a costume is more than something worn—it is part of the performance, an extension of the skater’s spirit, and a quiet partner in their confidence on the ice.
I began designing figure skating costumes in 2015, when my daughter first stepped her blade onto the ice. I knew I could create beautiful costumes for her, and soon everyone was asking me to make a costume for their skater. My daughter is an endless source of inspiration for me.
I bring with me over 20 years of professional sewing experience, and a lifetime of unlimited creativity. Every piece I create is thoughtfully handcrafted, blending artistry with precision, softness with strength.
It is an honor for me to use the gifts the Creator has given me to be part of dreams being realized—pouring intention into every seam, every crystal, every detail—because when a skater feels seen, supported, and confident, that is where the magic begins.
